| | Born in Los Angeles, CA on Sept. 24, 1901. After graduating from Smith College, Carolyn married Rudolph S. Liebig in 1925. She studied with Stanton MacDonald Wright, Millard Sheets, and Lorser Feitelson. Active during the 1930s and 1940s, she painted still lifes and landscapes of the area around her home. For many years she was on the board of LACMA. A lifelong resident of her native city, she died on July 10, 1994. Exh: Calif.
