Born in Evansville, Indiana, Chester Leich traveled widely in the Southwest, doing a number of paintings and drypoint and other etchings of Southwestern subjects.
He studied in Florence, Munich, and Berlin and with Siebelist in Hamburg, Germany. He was also a student at Columbia University and the Art Students League.
A longtime resident of Evansville, he was a member of the Chicago and Brooklyn societies of etchers. His work includes Mountains in Arizona, San Francisco P (showing 500 of 966 characters). |
