The unusual bronze sculptures of Craig Lehmann romanticize life in simpler societies. Lehmann's elongated figures have a quiet elegance of their own.
Beginning with an admiration for primitive art, this artist became interested in different cultures many years ago. Lehmann's favorite subjects include village life in Africa. His figurative bronzes center around the interaction of adults and children, families and their animals, and often include a subtle sense of humor.
