Patricia Dale Lynch was born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, and makes her home in Prime Hook Beach, Delaware.
Dale’s formal education was in Theology, Bible, and Missionary Training with New Tribes Mission. She also served as a missionary to the Philippines from 1979-1981. Following those years she has been involved in several different careers, including Housing, Real Estate and Property Management. It wasn’t until 2003 when she took her first art class that she fell in love with painting. Studying at Rehoboth Art League in Rehoboth Delaware proved to be a creative turning point in her life. In 2004 she took more oil painting classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She became a full-time artist, and her paintings have been described as both “bold & graphic.” and, “larger than life.” Dale’s works of art can be found in private homes across the U.S, and her images are also being used for advertising purposes.
Dale’s inspiration comes from her many surroundings, and travels. She prefers to use her photography skills to capture images and then paint back in her home.
