Dean M. Larson was born in 1957 in Norway, Michigan. He received a BA from Willamette University, Salem, Oregon in 1980, a MEd in Art Education from Towson State University in Towson, Maryland in 1984 and an Artist's Diploma from the Schuler School of Fine arts in Baltimore, Maryland in 1985.
