Donna Levinstone is a landscape painter whose studio and home are both
blocks from the site of the September 11, 2001 attacks. The
artist, a native New Yorker who attended both Pratt Institute and the
Art Students League, was invited to participate in an art exhibit
curated by The Merdian International Center in Washington, D.C. The
show entitled "True Colors, Meditations on the American Spirit" was an
artistic response to the September 11 tragic events.
