| | Born in San Francisco, CA on March 23, 1897. Dorothea was the daughter of artist Theodore Langguth. She studied at the CSFA and graduated from UC Berkeley in 1919. While at UC she was president of the Delta Epsilon Art Honor Society. After her marriage to Cecil McCoy in 1922, she lived in Oakland until her death on Nov. 28, 1967. Her work includes landscapes and still lifes in oil and watercolor.
