| A modernist still-life painter whose style leaned towards Cubism, Edgar
Levy had a studio in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at the Art
Students League, and was a member of the Union of American Artists and
the American Artists Congress. Exhibition venues included the
Whitney Museum of American Art in 1938.
