| A French Huguenot woman in Charleston, South Carolina from 1684 to 1717, Elizabeth Leger LeSerrurier has a self portrait attributed to her, which has been owned by a Dr. W. Jervey Ravenel of Charleston. No other artwork by her has been identified. Henrietta Johnson, well-known Charleston artist, painted portraits of two of LeSerrurier's granddaughters.
