Eric Lakes was born in New York City in October 1917 and died in June of
1958.
He served in the Pacific in World War II. During his war service he had
paintings and drawings noted including several in Preflight Magazine and
in World Outlook.
He became an active member of the American Watercolor
Society (AWS) in 1953. He exhibited with the AWS, along with Edmond
Fitzgerald and Edgar A. Whitney in the 92nd annual exhibition, and
exhibited at l (showing 500 of 1214 characters). |
