Born in New Mexico on Sept. 18, 1898. Long studied at the New Orleans Arts & Crafts Club. By 1931 she had settled in Los Angeles where she illustrated children’s books, taught art to children at Kann Art Institute, and was active in the local art scene. About 1970 she moved north to Santa Rosa and lived there until her death on April 1, 1991.
