Born in Brooklyn, New York, Frank Limone became an artist working in abstract style. He served in the Marines and then studied at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn from 196 to 1961 and at the School of Visual Arts in New York from 1961 to 1962. He worked on film and television design at Cinnefects Inc., a New York film optical house. From 1961 to 1965, he studied theology and received a B.A. in Philosophy and Letters at St. Louis University in 1970.
