| Leach was born September 19, 1924 in Arkansas City, Kansas. Earned a BA from James Millikin Univ., studied at the Univ. of Wisconsin, and earned a MA, MFA, and PhD from the Univ. of Iowa. Taught at Iowa State Univ., at James Millikin Univ., and, from 1956-68, at Ohio Univ. in Athens. Professor at Hamline Univ., St. Paul, MN from 1968.

Exhibition; Central Illinois Artists; Ohio State Fair.
