| Born in Massachusetts on Oct. 6, 1874. By 1920 Lucas had moved to Los Angeles and was in the insurance business. By 1930 he was operating an art gallery in Glendale. In his leisure he painted landscapes of the area. He died In Los Angeles on July 31, 1957.
