Helen Langford was born March 11, 1907 in Port Huron, Michigan. Mrs. Langford''s father was a architect and shipbuilder, which no doubt heavily influenced her later artwork. Mostly self-taught, she was a graduate nurse who was principally involved in the founding of a Hospital for Mueller Brass Company employees during World War II, and was involved in expansion activities of the Port Huron Hospital in 1950''s.
