| | Born in California on Feb. 17, 1894. During the 1930s Levinson lived on the Monterey Peninsula and had a studio in Carmel where he fulfilled commissions for the Federal Art Project. In the 1960s he lived in San Francisco and later in San Mateo where he died on June 21, 1975.
