| | Born in NYC on Nov. 28, 1919. LaTour began his art studies at Berkeley High School under Myrtle Gifford and continued at the CCAC under Ethel Abeel. He was active in the Oakland-Berkeley art scene during the 1930s. He later taught at Chico (CA) State University into the 1990s. He currently lives in Chico.
