| | Irene L. Laurie was born in Illinois in 1868. Laurie was a resident of San Francisco by 1895. Following the earthquake in 1906, she moved across the bay to Oakland. By then she was the wife of A. L. Chambers. She died in Monterey, CA on April 11, 1939. | Source:
