Plein-air painter Jean LeGassick has always wanted to be an artist. She studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and later worked in commercial art while continuing to paint on her own. After a workshop in plein-air painting with Michael Lynch, LeGassick decided that she would be a plein air artist.
Jean LeGassick loves to be outdoors experiencing nature first hand as she paints. Every summer she mule-packs into the Sierra Nevada Mountains camping in remote spo (showing 500 of 2043 characters). |
