Painter-sculptor June Leaf was born in 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, where she studied at the New Bauhaus, Institute of Design, Chicago, Illinois, 1947-1948. She received her B.A. degree in Art Education from Roosevelt University, Chicago, in 1954, and an M.A. in Art Education from the Institute of Design. She also studied in Paris, France.
She has lived for the past thirty years in New York City and Mabou, Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Canada with her husband, photographer Robert Fran (showing 500 of 7846 characters). |
