| Oil painter, Kristan Le was born in SAigon, Viet Nam and came to the United States in 1975. She settled in Union City, California as a software engineer for nine years before embarking on a career in painting. She studied oil painting at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and graduated in 2001.
Le was the Grand Prize Winner in the International Artist magazine "Your Favorite Subject" contest in 2002.
