| Having spent 35 years as a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal, Larry Lohmann retired to Vermont where he has been active as a watercolor landscape painter. He exhibits with the new England Watercolor Society and the Northern Vermont Artist's Association and has earned signature membership in the Philadelphia Water Color Club.
When he arrived in Vermont, he began taking classes at the southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester in order to occupy his time.
