A book illustrator, muralist and writer who lived in Torrington Connecticut and Tarpon Springs, Florida, Lois Lenski was married to Arthur Covey and sometimes used his surname on her artwork.
Among the books she illustrated are Shoo-fly Girl, The Life I Live: Collected Poems,To Be a Logger, Deer Valley Girl, Christmas Stories, Blueberry Corners,The Little Farm, Strawberry Girl, and Blue Ridge Billy.
