Biography from Foothills Fine Art:
Louise Garland Lewis taught art and art history at Agnes Scott college, a private women's college in Decatur Georgia from 1900 to 1943.  Her art education included study at University of Chicago, University of Paris, Art Institute of Chicago, Academie Julian, and Ecole Delacluse.

Miss Lewis illustrated the book, A Bundle of Faggots by Lavinia Hartwell Egan in 1895.
