| Born in Helena, MT on Feb. 1, 1897. By the 1920s Lockhart had begun work as a retouch artist for the movie studios in Hollywood. In her leisure she sculpted statues and figurines and did pastel portraits. After retiring from MGM in 1966, she returned to Helena and died there on March 6, 2001.
