Marjorie Liebman was born on November 17, 1911, in Memphis, Tennessee.
After graduating from Central High School in Memphis the artist studied
at the Chicago Art Institute, Washington University Art School, and The
Art Student's League in New York City, with Robert Brackman, Vaclav Vytlacil, and Hans Hoffman. She later received her BFA at
the University of Mississippi.
One of the United States most outstanding artists, Miss Liebman's work has been recognized in Europe, Mex (showing 500 of 2705 characters). |
