| He received his art training at Wayne State University in Detroit where he earned an M.F.A. in studio art. He taught drawing at the University and was the curator of the Troy Historical Museum in Troy, Michigan. In 1974, he was hired in Washington D.C. as an etcher at the National Gallery and he subsequently became Chief of Design. As a weekend painter, he pursued his first artistic interest of painting invented landscapes and still lifes, much influenced by Dutch formats and Oriental subject ma (showing 500 of 3610 characters). |
