| | Born in Guinda, CA on March 25, 1895. Miriam was a graduate of the CSFA and the wife of artist John. T. Lemos. The couple moved to a home at 637 Seale Avenue in Palo Alto in the 1920s where they remained. For many years they were heads of the art department at Oakland's Latham Foundation. Mrs. Lemos died on Jan. 5, 1968 at Stanford Hospital.
