This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Known for cityscapes and streetscenes of his adopted hometown of San
Francisco, Po Pin Lin traveled a great distance from a farm in Taiwan
to find his muse.
Po Pin Lin taught himself to draw by studying the discarded artwork of
students from the nearby high school for art. He won many
contests as a child and eventually earned a spot at Fu Shin Art College
in Taiwan.
In 1995 he moved to the United States to study at the Academy of Art
College in San Francisco where he earned both undergraduate and grauate
degrees.
