| Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Rose Labrie was a painter in contemporary primitive style and an illustrator and muralist. She lived in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She studied at the University of New Hampshire and at the University of Wisconsin.
Ilustrations included contributions to "Yankee" magazine and "National Antiques Review". She was a member of the Copley Society in Boston and the Armed Forces Writers League. Exhibitions venues included the Copley Society, and galleries in Portsmouth and Boston.
