This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Ada, OH on Nov. 23, 1888.  Mrs. Lindsay studied at the NAD, ASL of NYC, PAFA, and the Royal Academy of Brussels.  By the early 1920s she had settled in Pasadena into a home at 1025 Topeka and  was active in the local art scene through the early 1960s.  She died in Pasadena on Jan. 26, 1982. 

Member:  Laguna Beach AA; Pasadena Society of Artists; Women Painters of the West. 

Exh:  Calif. Art Club, 1923-32; Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1934-35; Ebell Club (LA), 1938, 1949; Pasadena Society of Artists, 1938-45 (awards); Pasadena Arts & Crafts Club, 1941; Women Painters of the West, 1949; Pasadena Museum, 1955 (award); Friday Morning Club (LA), 1957.
