Salvatore Lascari (1884-1967)
Born in Sicily in 1884, Salvatore Lascari was an Italian American easel painter, sculptor and muralist, based in New York and later Lodi, New Jersey, where he died in 1967.
Lascari studied at the National Academy of Design and exhibited there in 1927, winning a prize. He also exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Annuals in 1918 and 1928 and the Art Institute of Chicago in 1919 and 1926, and at the National Sculpture Society Exhi (showing 500 of 1187 characters). |
