Walter Stuart Lloyd (England 1845-1959) is best known for his warm marine and landscape scenes. He painted most his works with boats and fisherman, and small cottages with a church. Mainly a watercolorist, he also painted large oils that were his exhibition pieces.
Through his career, he exhibited at the Royal Academy, Suffolk Street, the Royal Society of British Artists, and The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
He is widely held in many institutions and museums.
