|  The following information is from Mike Wright:
Wayne L. Lowdermilk was born January 20, 1911, in Amarillo, Texas, grew up
in Denver Colorado. There he attended Denver University art school. His
early favorite artists were Maxfield Parrish and Thomas Moran.
Married in 1932, he and his family moved to Los Angeles, California in
1934. It was there he met and studied under Jack Wilkinson Smith. In 1955, he and his wife moved to Dallas, Texas, where he continued
his art work.
He works only in primary colors, and his work has been exhibited in Denver, Dallas, and Los Angeles.
