This biography from the Archives of AskART:

The following information was submitted in July of 2006 by Carolyn Rowlinson, whose aunt Lillian Ketcham gave piano lessons to Lembke's daughter:

My aunt, Lillian Ketcham, was a piano teacher and was giving piano lessons to William Lembke’s daughter at no charge because the young lady had considerable talent and her father could not afford to pay for the lessons.  Shortly before Thanksgiving in 1937, Mr. Lembke appeared at Lillian’s front door with a rolled up canvas.  He asked her to accept it as a gift in return for his daughter’s piano lessons.  Mr. Lembke said the painting represented “Plenty”.  It is a fall scene, with  fall foilage, a horn of plenty and turkeys.

My aunt lived in Islip, Long Island, New York at the time, and I know that Mr. Lembke painted the murals in the VIP lounge at the 1938 World Fair in New York City.
