| Born in Sacramento, CA on June 6, 1888. Lenoir was a lifelong resident of his native city except in 1910 when he studied at the Los Angeles School of Art and Design. Locally, he worked in the art departments of the Bee and Union newspapers. He died on Feb. 15, 1968.
