Y.S. Lim was born in 1937 in Canton, China. Known for his watercolor, and oil renditions of the Monterey Peninsula and Animal subjects, he moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1956.
In 1965 he became an Artist member of the Carmel Art Association. He has been a member since that time, having served on their Board of Directors on several occasions. His wife, Irene Robinson, is also a long-time member of the Carmel Art Association.
Lim studied at the Carmel Art Institute under Montere (showing 500 of 1045 characters). |
