This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Archibald Dugald MacIntyre (1890-1953)

As shown on his Arizona death certificate, Archibald was born May 17, 1890 in Scotland. He died at his home in Phoenix, Arizona on October 22, 1953.  His death certificate lists his occupation as artist and indicates that he had lived in Phoenix and Arizona for 19 years. He is listed as manager of the Hassayampa Mountain Club in Prescott Arizona on his daughter's 1930 Arizona birth certificate. The Ancestry.com listing for the British Army WWI Medal Rolls Index Cards, 1914-1920, shows Archibald as a Captain with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, Isleornsay, Isle of Skye, Scotland.

Information provided by Wes Reeder

This biography from the Archives of AskART:
He lived in Phoenix, Arizona where his work had the undated address label of 735 East Culver.  Another painting by Macintyre had a dustcover that read: "Capt. A.D. Macintyre of Texas".
