friends, family members and historical personages who also have Native
American ties.
She lives in San Francisco, where in 2006, she was tied in competition for Best Painter in the San Francisco Weekly's 2006 poll.
Of her painting, she says: I don't do art for art's
sake. I do art specifically to talk about Native American
issues. That's the only reason I'm an artist."
