| Anna Macouillard was born in San Francisco, CA on Nov. 2, 1888 of French parents. Anna was the aunt of artist Louis Macouillard. She studied at the local Institute of Art. For much of her artwork she used the pseudonym Ann Jana. A spinster and lifelong resident San Francisco, she died on June 14, 1971.
