This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Anne Meggitt is a painter and graphic artist.  She was born in Sarasota, Florida; raised from the age of two in Berkshire, England; and since 1977 has lived mostly in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.  Her primary medium is oil on canvas, though she has also worked in watercolor, pastel, acrylic and ink; her primary subjects are landscapes and gardens; and her style is Impressionism*.  According to the Canadian Heritage Information Network* her works are in the permanent collections of the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery (Saskatchewan) and the Saskatchewan Arts Board Permanent Collection (Regina).  Attached below is her biography courtesy of the Assiniboia Gallery, Regina, Saskatchewan.

Anne Meggitt born in 1930 and raised in England started painting at an early age.

She studied at Reading University, under Anthony Betts [see AskART] who had been a student of Walter Sickert [see AskART], and obtained the National Diploma of Design in Painting.  Soon after, Anne lived in three African countries mainly on safari, before living in North Borneo for seventeen years.

In 1977 Anne moved to the Canadian prairies where she explored and painted Saskatchewan valleys and lakes before venturing westwards. Further inspiration was provided by the supportive tutelage of Ted Godwin [see AskART] and four summers at the Emma Lake Workshop*. [1]

Throughout her life Anne has loved trees and gardens, painting them with delight. From old Ming gardens in China, the Generalife near the Alhambra Palace, the gardens at Kew, others in the Blue Mountains of Australia and many more as she found them. Her present work is based on gardens in south west England where the finds of early plant hunters abound, and old Arab gardens in Mallorca [also known as Majorca, Spain].
