| | Born in Paola, Italy on Oct. 23, 1894. Monaco studied at the AIC and was active in Chicago until 1920. He then moved to southern California and was a resident of Glendale until his death in August 1981. Working in oil and watercolor, he produced scenes of Palos Verdes, Catalina, and San Juan Capistrano.
