This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following is from Theodora Marshak:

Arthur Marshak resides in Florida but is formerly from New York. Mr. Marshak came into his own success in the early seventies, after studying at the Venice School of Art, California; Sun Casting Foundry, California; Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida; The Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; The Boca Raton Museum of Art, Boca Raton, Florida; and Atlantic Tech, Coconut Creek, Florida.

His work is intended to evoke a spiritual feeling, a depth of understanding, which one can readily empathize. The theme of many of his bronze sculptures revolves around the human endeavor for love, life, and achievement, the small space in time that one has to accomplish this, and the many unanswered questions of life itself.

Through his own experiences, he tries to convey in each of his works the fluid sense of ones feelings about family, life, and the importance of each individuals achievement.

For more information on Exhibits, Collectors, and to view some of his bronze sculptures, visit his website at www.bronzesculptures.net.

Marshak is also referenced in the "Encyclopedia of American Living Artists" 7th Edition; Review of Arthur Marshak, 87/88"," Florida Design Magazine; Unity Bronze Sculptures, 2000."
