| Dr. August Carl Mahr was borrn in Frankfurt, Germany on July 15, 1886. Dr. Mahr taught at Stanford University in 1925-32. By 1952 he was at Ohio State University. He died in Kelleys Island, OH in January 1970. His works include portraits and landscapes.
