Babette Martino was born in Philadelphia on January 4, 1956.
As a receipient of over 100 Awards & Honors in 2000 she received the Pew Fellowship in the Arts & a GAP Grant from the Pew in 2003. She has lectured at The Butler Institute of American Art, OH, The Berman Museum, PA, Woodmere Art Museum, PA, NYU, NYC, Stocton University, NJ, Penn College, PA & numerous other institutions.
