| Blanche Morgan Losey studied at the University of Washington and was a
member of the Women Painters of Washington for forty years. She
was a member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and the National
Association of Women Artists, New York. Her work of the 1930’s
and early 1940’s was primarily in watercolor, executed in a crisp,
hard-edged Precisionist style. She designed stage sets and costumes for
many local theatrical productions including those of the Federal
Theater (showing 500 of 1982 characters). |
