Bob Moody closed his architecture firm in 2000 so that he could devote his time to painting. A watercolorist, Moody painted 50 Alabama churches constructed before 1930 which he included in his self published book, Gifts of Grace. He has also created a book of English churches for the Historic Churches Preservation Trust.
Moody has also done work for NASA which was published in Time, Life and Paris Match.
