This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following, submitted November 2004, is from Carolyn Bailey, niece of the artist from New Port Richey, Florida.

Catherine Estelle (Ehrmann) Milovich was born 1910 and died 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was recognized for her art work in textiles and enamels and was invited to participate in exhibits by the State Department, the St. Louis Art Museum and the Yugoslavia Galleries in Belgrade, Mostar and Sarajevo.

She was vice president of the board of governors of the St. Louis Artists' Guild from 1977 to 1980 and President in 1971 and 1972. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1933, and held a master's degree in fine arts from Columbia University in New York.

In 1982 she received an Alumni Merit Award from Southeast Missouri State. She lectured at Washington University School of Fine Art for ten years and was a Professor of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville from 1959 to 1975. She was named a professor emeritus at the campus upon her retirement.

Milovich was also the art director of the Ritenour School District in St. Louis County, Missouri. A native of St. Louis, she was married to Tanasko Milovich, a prominent St. Louis artist and teacher until his death in 1964.
