| Clara Agnes Main was born in Kent, WA on Sept. 14, 1899. Main was educated at the University of Washington. She taught in Stanwood, WA during 1923-25 and then settled in Vallejo, CA to continue teaching at Vallejo Jr. High School. A widow, she married John Nichols late in life. She died on Nov. 27, 1984.
