| Clyde Whittier Magill was born in Texas on Jan. 13, 1904. Magill was a resident of San Mateo, CA in the 1930s and 1940s. For 50 years he was art director for Newsweek magazine. He was a resident of Stockton, CA at the time of his death on Dec. 14, 1969.
